24M (at matriculation) Asian American. School: I studied philosophy with minors in physics + politics at a T30 private undergrad; graduated a full year early. Extracurricular: nothing after undergrad but during - elected executive editor of undergrad law review, led restructuring and high-growth expansion. mid-tier leadership position in Model UN. co-founded and led 20-person pro bono startup consultancy with a few clients. Also selected as a civic fellow in a DC program for Asian American student leadership endorsed by several US presidents + had a high-impact internship at a large aerospace/defense trade association. Professional (at matriculation): 0.5 years at aerospace/defense startup accelerator as analyst, good impact (nothing too crazy). 2.5 years at venture builder firm focused on frontier tech (space, quantum, biotech, advanced materials, etc) advising F500 clients on their skunkworks/internal venture strategy. high impact, helped double my firm's corporate revenue in a year (under $1m though). My biggest accomplishment is sourcing and conceiving of a pilot project for a F50 CPG that's being invested in to enter as the company's flagship product in a new multi-billion-dollar market. Received one promotion already and potentially 2 by matriculation. I currently also serve as the youngest venture partner at a VC firm targeting seed-stage startups in space, defense, and semiconductors. Goals: My short-term goal in pursuing an MBA is to pivot back to space in a roughly similar role - corp strat/dev. My long-term goal is political office (my essays explore a very unique family background/personal motivation, the space industry, and this goal)
