I currently work as an engineer at a manufacturing company in the power generation sector. I will have 4 years of work experience at the time of applying in 2022. I haven't taken the GMAT but I will in the coming months. I want to take it now and get it out of the way (shooting for a 750). I have a bachelors in Electrical Engr. I was active in some clubs in undergrad and held some leadership positions. I am involved in mentoring middle school kids interested in STEM and have also helped start an affinity group at work. I'm from sub-saharan Africa but working in the US. I'd like to switch industry & function to energy/renewables & consulting short term so my Post-mba career would be MBB then long term move to a Tesla/tesla-like company. I'm also a bit unsure on how to make that switch, I know the mba helps you with things like that but i don't want a drastic industry and function change. I'd like to do it in steps (maybe switch industries now then consulting after mba?). If you have any advice regarding that, it'll be helpful. Long term goal is to be in the renewable energy space preferably serving a developing country if the opportunity presents itself. I really love your podcasts, I've listened to all your episodes!
