Notes:

I currently work at a mid-size Real Estate Development firm in Chicago, where i've been for 2.5 yrs. I work on acquisitions and have sourced deals equivalent to $1.1 billion in construction value.

I want to make a switch to PE or something more entrepreneurial (ie running my own PE/investment fund or a search fund). I think my path would be RE -> MBA -> PE 3 yrs -> Search Fund. I worked at Bank of America in NYC for a year out of college (a top-50 small private uni), then one year at small consulting, and 2.5 years now in RE.

I'm trying to understand my likelihood of getting into H/S/W, if one in particular would be more likely (or amenable to accepting RE). And more specifically how to craft my story in a way that appeals to MBA admissions (or if you have any helpful sources that would be great!). Thanks so much!
