I am 28 and work for a large architecture firm. I've had 3 promotions and can show impact outside of architecture at work. I developed a new technology/workflow that I wrote about in my essays. I also volunteer as a reading and writing tutor. Although I just applied R2 to UT and UNC, I am retaking to resubmit the gmat and hoping to get a 680. I went to a state school that has a top 10 architecture program. I have not seen an architecture person on the site before and wanted to know both of your expert opinions on how schools might perceive odd ball candidates like myself. I put Kellogg because if I am able to get my GMAT up closer to 700, I wonder about my chances there if I was to go round 3 or even round 1 next cycle. I love the podcast and listen every week. I would love to be featured. Thanks for all you guys do, it really helps us unconventional applicants find our way through this difficult process.
