Notes:

I'm looking for help with MBA programs that match my future career goals. As stated I have a background in architecture (PM, Design Thinking, etc) but I want to transition to Tech Product Management to make a larger impact.

Kellogg's MMM program is a great fit because of the curriculum structure and the success graduates have pivoting to tech upon graduation. Beyond Kellogg I am considering Ross and Stern, but struggling with other options that will provide the same results. Thoughts?

I am also currently taking a certificate course in tech PM to expose myself more to the industry and show my dedication to pursuing this career path.

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1677 Many top programs can help facilitate the pivot, especially if you have a technically-related background. Doing the certificate course makes sense. Might be smart to learn a programming language, if you haven’t already. The elective offerings at top schools can be tech-focused. When are you taking the GMAT/GRE? Make sure you can show impact at work. Are you involved in activities outside of work? (0)

I don't think I would have what would be considered a "technically-related" background, at least not from a software perspective, but hopefully and MBA helps me achieve my career goals. I can definitely talk about impact at work, just need to frame it correctly, as business school and the MBA mindset is definitely not something that is talked about in my design-focused profession. GMAT is already complete, and I was not planning on retaking at this point. Extracurriculars are definitely the weakest piece of my application. I spend my time doing a lot of exercising and outdoor activity, but not so much in the way of organized clubs. I do participate in some professional organizations though. (1)
