I am a 29 yo black brazilian woman. I am civil engineer by the oldest civil engineer school of Brazil with full scholarship. I have been working with data since 2015 and now I am coordinator of a data team I the biggest Latin American Bank. Currently I am studying for toefl and improving my English. My main purposes joining a top tier mba are to improve my leadership skills and to learn with different people from different backgrounds (I am working in the same business since 2017).

I am originally from the UK (now a permanent resident) and went to community college (3.6 gpa), then transferred to a top 25 undergrad and severe health issues due to a disability causing me to get a 3.1 gpa. I then stayed there and did a master’s in finance with a 3.8 gpa. I am very passionate about giving back, especially about the homelessness epidemic. Before college I spent a year in Switzerland volunteering at homeless shelters. During college I led a campus ministry with a focus on helping the unhoused. After my experience with my disability, I started a nonprofit that has consulted with several shelters and foodbanks to help those with similar health issues as myself. I also personally raised capital to purchase and preserve an affordable multifamily property. My career has been in real estate since I graduated, but I have job hopped. My first job was 5 months, then I moved to be closer to family. My next job was for 7 months, but I quit as they were taking actions to make housing unaffordable for first time buyers. My next job was in acquisitions but I was laid off with about half the company due to the rising interest rates that affected the industry. I have been at an impact real estate private equity firm for almost 2 years in an acquisitions, development, and asset management role with a promotion. All my roles have been for REITs or PE firms. My post-mba goal is banking to better learn capital markets and long term to start an affordable real estate investment firm, perhaps in London. I would love to be a wire tap candidate, fingers crossed.

Applying for deferred programs at the mentioned schools. African woman studying Comp Sci and Math. GMAT Focus 98 %tile. Substantial community involvement and some experience at big tech working as a SWE. Thinking of consulting or product management post MBA.

Took the GMAT twice - with significant percentile increases for DI (77th to 86th) and Quant (50th to 66th) and a small dip in Verbal from (99th to 96th) same overall score of 645. Wondering whether to retake again.

Grades: BSc (3.8 GPA) from home country, MSc (3.9 GPA) from a top EU university. Both are in Electrical Engineering

GMAT: 675 FE (might retake, depending on work commitments).

Work Experience: 5+ years in the semiconductor/electronics industry—started as an Engineer, now a Product Manager focusing on product strategy at a large US-based company. Currently working in the EU.

Extracurriculars: Skiing, running, skill development (nothing standout).

Target Schools: M7 (reach), but more realistically T10-T20—Fuqua, Stern, McCombs, Tepper, Ross (Fuqua & McCombs are my top choices).

Post-MBA Goals: Transition into a Product Manager role at a top tech company (Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, NVIDIA, AMD). Consulting as a backup.

Long-Term Goal: Live and work in the US for 10+ years, using the MBA to build a strong local network for that transition.

Questions: Would Stern's Tech MBA or Kellogg's MBAi be appropriate for my kind of profile? + I would prefer to get $$$ to $$$$, given my stats is that too much to ask? Should I re-take the GMAT?

I want to get your thoughts. I am a 30/white/male applicant from Caucasus.
2.87 GPA (71.65/100), 750 Gmat Classic. 7+ years of Product management experience (Fintech/Banking, AI, and Govtech domains). Several extracurriculars, Volunteer experiences, and lots of activities.

I have applied through the last 2 cycles; m7 and t15 schools. I got an interview from Booth and Stern last year and both went well, but I got rejected, and I got an interview from Ross this cycle and got rejected after waitlist.

So questions:

Should I apply through 3rd round and consider t20 schools? or

Should I stay till round 1 next cycle and apply again?

Which makes sense more? Will being 31 before matriculation for US schools weak point of my application? Post-MBA goal is also PM-related positions in Big Tech companies. Should I reconsider my goal? Is the current situation in the US tech job market an issue for me as an international?

I’m a final-year Business Data Analytics major at ASU with a 3.55 GPA and multiple Dean’s List honors. I’ve completed three internships across strategy consulting, analytics, and supply chain, and recently accepted a full-time Data Analyst offer at a mid-sized firm in Phoenix. I plan to work for 1–2 years before starting my MBA, with long-term goals in consulting or strategic leadership roles at top firms or global corporations.

Tepper is my top choice for its quantitative rigor, tight-knit community, and flexibility to explore different career tracks. I am a deferred MBA applicant with a strong international background, having studied and worked across India, the UK, and the USA. Currently, I am completing a full-time Co-op at Master Electronics, where I focus on business analytics, strategy, and supply chain optimization. Retiring military officer, coming from operations and strategic planner roles. Previous led teams of 80+ people, and looking to grow into a leadership role in a large company in the Pacific Northwest. Undergraduate in Arabic Language and Culture from lesser known school, and a Masters in Theology from Seminary (3.8 GPA in both programs). Will be a practice GRE and GMAT to see which is a better fit.

Questions I am considering:
Will it be better to go to an M7 program or a local MBA program if I want to find a position in Seattle?
Will the GRE or GMAT be a better fit for my application?
Should I be looking into EMBA programs instead, based on the average age of MBA programs?
Should a maintain a federal job while attending a hybrid MBA or EMBA program?
