Notes:

I applied to 6 schools during the last admission circle and got rejected by all. I applied to 2 in Round 2 and 4 in Round 3.
I am not sure why I did not get admitted to any of the above listed schools. Would it have been because of my age (32), low GPA, round of application, or country of residence.

I would like to know if I could be considered a competitive candidate to the above listed schools or if I should consider lower ranked schools.
I would also like to know how I can significantly improve my application for the upcoming R1 deadline as I want to also get some scholarship offers.

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1609 Targeting the first rounds will help, and especially for a reapplicant. Your GPA and GRE combination is likely on the lighter side; have you considered retaking the GRE? More points there will help.

With 10 years of experience, you’re at the longer end of the spectrum. You’ll need to express “why now” makes good sense, as well as your fit for each program you target.

If scholarship money is very important, that might prove challenging, so seeking out more programs from the next tier might be worthwhile.
