Combinations: Consider The Grouping with the Slot Method
The GMAT loves to present combination questions that force people to sit next to each other, or in certain seats, and then have the test taker figure out how many different ways people not forced to be glued to possibly a very uncomfortable chair can be seated around them. Wharton MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Adcom / Off-campus Hub
Had my Wharton interview at the San Francisco campus in a smallish room with a round table. Name tags were faced towards the interviewer and no visible, which made it hard to call people by name since I had forgotten a few. Overall structure: Interviewer briefly introduced herself, read the prompt, and told us about what we would have: 35 minutes, a timer, and a whiteboard. NYU Stern MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 3 / Adcom / On-Campus
Interviewed with a member of the adcom on campus in March. Application-based interview. The interviewer started off by saying that they had seen my application and wanted to get to know me better. Wharton MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Adcom / Off-campus hub in Mumbai
Wharton Team Based Discussion Group discussion was friendly. Had 5 other candidates. The session started with each person introducing themselves and then sharing their individual pitch around the topic. Then, we started bringing these different ideas to life. HBS Reinstates Third Round of Admissions to Counter Sluggish Application Volume
Boston, MA – Harvard Business School has been forced to backtrack on a new initiative that was piloted in the 2018-19 admissions cycle: the elimination of school's third admissions round.  Admissions director Chad Losee, who just months ago touted the benefits of moving to a more simplified two-round admissions cycle, announced today that the school was bringing back the third round, effective immediately.  This means that applicants can still apply to HBS for a September 2019 start date by submitting an application before the 21st of April. Kellogg to Award Two Full Scholarships for Class of 2021
Evanston, IL — The Kellogg School of Management recently unveiled a special program to award two additional full-tuition scholarships to this year’s incoming class.  The scholarships will actually be offered up in specially marked boxes of Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes and Kellogg’s Sugar Smacks that can be purchased at the campus bookstore during DAK weekend (April 12-14).  Valued at over $140K each, these ‘cereal surprises’ are going to be a serious deal for a couple of incoming Kellogg MBAs. Yale SOM MBA Interview Questions & Report: Waitlisted R1 Applicant / Second-year student / On-Campus
Description / location of visit and/or interview atmosphere: 9:45 am Interview seem to be the right time as the interviewer had the chance to warm up from the first interview at 9:00am. The Harvard MBA admissions interview was really relaxed — I truly got the sense my interviewer was just looking to get to know me. The visit was good.
