UCLA Anderson Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Second-Year Student / Zoom
Normal questions asked: resume walkthrough, tell me about your goals, plan b, why mba, how did you handle a conflict at work, etc. Not feeling good about this interview. I think I did ok, but felt a complete lack of connection to the interviewer. Tried to ask them multiple questions while I was speaking, but didn’t get much back from them. They seemed bored/lukewarm (although polite) for most of the time. This is odd for me as I’m usually pretty good at connecting with people and am easy to talk to. Read more

My interview was not as behavioral-based as I thought it would be. I was prepared to talk in more depth about conflict/persuasion/leadership type “stories,” but most of the questions focused on how the last year has been, my future goals, and my interest in MIT Sloan. The interview was conversational like all the other reports. I suspect the Booth interviews vary a bit depending on who you get as the interviewer. I was expecting more questions around “Why MBA, Why Booth, Goals etc.” from the other reports, but the majority of the interview time (30+mins) was spent on behavioral questions in my case. The interview was conversational and resume-based and lasted for about 40 minutes. UVA Darden Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Adcom / Zoom
The whole interview was ‘Tell me about yourself’ with follow up questions in between that gave direction to the narrative. The interview was blind so the interviewer didn’t have access to my application or resume. Questions included: Why MBA (covered ST and LT goals)? Why now? Why Darden?
