MBA Career Trends: Tech Job Decline at Top B-Schools
MBA Class of 2022 graduates were clearly impacted by the softening in the technology sector in 2022 after the pandemic-fueled growth in tech industry jobs in 2020 and 2021. Compared to the Class of 2021, Class of 2022 graduates were offered fewer jobs in the technology industry, leading many graduates in search of other options. Fortunately, consulting firms increased hiring for the Class of 2022 to help offset the decline in tech industry hiring. Real Numbers of MBA Admissions: Cost of MBA Programs in the U.S.
In this edition of Real Numbers of MBA Admissions, see the total cost of a full-time MBA per year at U.S. schools. Tuition comprises most of the cost of each program. Other factors, including room and board, program fees, books and supplies, health insurance, transportation and other expenses, have been added to provide the total cost of an MBA in the U.S. by year. Emory Goizueta MBA Employment Report: Class of 2022 Achieves Impressive Placement
See the Emory Goizueta MBA employment report for the Class of 2023 here. Ninety-eight percent of the 145 graduating members of the Emory Goizueta Business School MBA Class of 2022 earned job offers and claimed them within three months of graduation, according to the new employment report. The median base salary increased roughly $30,000 over last year’s class to $165,000. Median base salary plus signing bonus jumps to $193,000 for the recent two-year MBA graduates. Real Humans of Emory Goizueta’s MBA Class of 2024
We head to Atlanta, Georgia, for this edition of Real Humans: MBA Students to meet some new members of the MBA Class of 2024 at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. The Emory MBA Class of 2024 is comprised of 110-150 students. Half of the class are international and a third are women. Thirteen percent of the class identify as African American, Hispanic / Latinx, or Native American / Alaskan. New Emory MBA students averaged 5.6 years of work experience upon matriculating. The middle 80 percent of their GMAT scores ranged from 640 to 740.

Emory Goizueta Secures Over $41M in Scholarship Donations
Emory University’s Goizueta Business School announced recently they have secured more than $41 million in new scholarship donations with three more years of the fundraising campaign remaining. Goizueta considers student scholarships a fundraising priority, as a means to attract the best and brightest students. “The cost of pursuing a graduate degree is a significant investment,” said Melissa Rapp, associate dean of graduate admissions at Goizueta. “Scholarships provide individual students financial relief and allow our school to attract the most sought-after student talent.
