HBS Awards 2023 New Venture Competition Winners

Harvard Business School recently crowned the winners of their annual New Venture Competition (NVC), doling out $225,000 in cash and prizes. Participants, which include any HBS students and alumni interested in starting a new business or social impact venture, spend at least a year developing their business idea and pitch. After starting with 318 teams this year, 20 student and alumni teams made it to the finals on March 30th. The Financial Times 2023 Global MBA Ranking: CBS Takes Top Spot for the First Time

The Financial Times (FT) released its rankings of the 100 best Global MBA programs for 2023. Changes to the ranking’s methodology and the glaring absence of a familiar name have really shaken things up. “The weighting for salary-related metrics has been cut from 40% of the ranking to less than 33% this time around, and that has clearly made a difference. Harvard Business School Employment Report: MBA Class of 2022 Excels

The Harvard Business School employment report shows a successful MBA Class of 2022 that secured a high median base salary of $175,000. Of the 732 students who matriculated for the class, 71 percent were seeking employment post-MBA. Of those, 95 percent secured offers and 90 percent accepted offers.
