Kellogg Class of 2021: Intelligence and Diversity Continue to Shine

Northwestern Kellogg’s incoming Class of 2021 reflects the intelligence and diversity that the school is known for. As Renee Cherubin, the senior director of Full-Time MBA admissions said, “Our incoming Class of 2021 class reflects everything that makes me proud to be an alumna and current leader at this school, namely the incredible depth and breadth of diversity that Kellogg strives for. Real Humans of Northwestern Kellogg’s MBA Class of 2021

Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management students praise the diverse, friendly, and supportive on-campus atmosphere. The overall Class of 2021 demographics further support this culture. Of the 474 full-time MBA students in the most recent class, U.S. minorities account for 26 percent of the student body while international students represent 32 percent of the group. Twenty-nine percent of the Class of 2021 majored in STEM subjects for their undergraduate degrees, 49 percent in economics/business, and 24 percent in humanities subjects. Admissions Director Q&A: Renee Cherubin of the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management

This edition of our Admissions Director Q&A series takes us to the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University. We first met Renee Cherubin this past summer when she stepped into the role of Senior Director of Full-Time MBA Admissions. Prior to Kellogg, Cherubin spent nine years in strategy consulting and talent at Deloitte Consulting. She earned her MBA from Kellogg in 2006 and had also graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s in business from Miami University. UCLA Anderson Names Antonio Bernardo New Dean Courtesy Antonio Bernardo UCLA Anderson School of Management has just named its new dean, Antonio Bernardo, an award-winning teacher and respected scholar who has taught at UCLA for the last 25 years and currently holds the Joel Fried Chair in Applied Finance. Since 1994, Bernardo has had a long and distinguished career at the school. He previously held the Robert D. Beyer Term Chair in Management; he was department chair and senior associate dean for academic affairs from 2006-2009; and he held the finance chair from 2013-2015, and again in 2019. “Chancellor Block and I are confident that the UCLA Anderson School of Management will continue to thrive under Tony’s capable leadership,” said Scott Waugh, executive vice chancellor and provost. “Please join me in congratulating him and welcoming him to this new role.” Bernardo's tenure begins July 1.
