MBA Career Trends: Tech Job Decline at Top B-Schools
MBA Class of 2022 graduates were clearly impacted by the softening in the technology sector in 2022 after the pandemic-fueled growth in tech industry jobs in 2020 and 2021. MIT Sloan Employment Report: MBA Class of 2022 Secures Strong Employment Outcomes
The MBA Class of 2022 of the MIT Sloan School of Management saw upward trends in placement and salary, according to the MBA employment report. Sloan MBAs are looking toward their futures, with 42.3 percent citing growth potential as their top reason for accepting a position. Within three months of graduation, 96.6 percent of graduates had received job offers. Bloomberg Businessweek Business School Rankings 2022-2023 Key Takeaways
Bloomberg Businessweek’s 2022-2023 Best B-Schools ranks the top business schools globally by region, charting assessments of programs in the U.S., Europe, Asia-Pacific region, and Canada through a rigorous analysis of data and survey responses. This year, the ranking covers 117 business schools. To qualify, programs had to be taught primarily in English. Bloomberg Businessweek surveyed 6,422 students, 11,304 alumni, and 778 employers, and also weighed compensation and employment data to determine schools’ scores.
