Yale SOM MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Adcom / Off-campus in Mumbai
My interview with Yale SOM was a conversation with Adcom. Fun and friendly. Questions what’s your career path so far why an MBA why Yale what do you want to do after The Adcom pressed a lot on the ‘Why Yale’ question. This was emphasized more than I would expect. Maybe they were trying to up their yield by making sure there is a strong desire to go to Yale.

The interview with Yale SOM was super structured. She had a list of questions, which she mentioned the same for everyone. Ran for about 30 mins. She was super friendly and made an effort to make me comfortable. I had an overall great interview experience at Olin. Aimee was warm, welcoming, and made me feel right at ease. The interview was conducted by a second-year student. As the case for Tuck interviews, it was a blind one. It was a friendly chat, she tried to make me more comfortable. No surprise questions. My interview at Ross was very informal with a 2nd year male interviewer. Questions Walk me through your resume. Why Ross? Why an MBA? What is your greatest strength? Tell me about a time you failed? I Interviewed with Ross at the alumni’s office in downtown San Francisco. Lasted about 45 minutes. Questions: Went into a lot of detail with my resume. Wharton MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Adcom / Off-campus Hub
Had my Wharton interview at the San Francisco campus in a smallish room with a round table. Name tags were faced towards the interviewer and no visible, which made it hard to call people by name since I had forgotten a few. Overall structure: Interviewer briefly introduced herself, read the prompt, and told us about what we would have: 35 minutes, a timer, and a whiteboard. TBD (Team Based Discussion) 1 on 1 interview We were also asked to give our intended major in our intro, which threw some of us off, but I don’t think that ended up mattering.

NYU Stern MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 3 / Adcom / On-Campus
Interviewed with a member of the adcom on campus in March. Application-based interview. The interviewer started off by saying that they had seen my application and wanted to get to know me better. I heard from Booth on the first day of the week when interview invites were supposed to be out. Wharton MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Adcom / Off-campus hub in Mumbai
Wharton Team Based Discussion Group discussion was friendly. Had 5 other candidates. The session started with each person introducing themselves and then sharing their individual pitch around the topic. Then, we started bringing these different ideas to life. Everyone was collaborative and building on each other’s points. We managed time well – left the last few minutes to summarize as a group. This was followed by a 15-minute 1:1 interview.
