Duke / Fuqua Interview Report: Round 2 / Second-year Student / On-Campus
The following Duke / Fuqua interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them! Went to campus for the interview. Watched a class before hand. After mingled in lobby with current students. Was all very relaxed and everyone was very welcoming. The interview was blind. But that student had looked at my resume before hand and and had questions specific to my résumé. Questions asked include the following not all in order. Tell me about yourself Why MBA? Tell me about your previous employer? (she had not heard of the non-profit I worked for)

Berkeley / Haas MBA Interview Report: Round 2 / Alumnus / On-Campus
The following Berkeley / Haas MBA interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. I got helpful tips from Clear Admit and hope my experience with my Haas interview will help other applicants. Good luck everyone! I was invited to the super Saturday interview hosted on campus on Feb 20. The events were very well organized, and the interview was just a very small part of the experience. The adcom and current students hosted lunches, different panels for team work and student life, and everyone we met was very kind and helpful. The interview was with an alumnus

Duke / Fuqua Interview Report: Round 2 / Admissions Officer / Skype
The following Duke / Fuqua interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them! It went really well, much more conversational than I expected. She was more than willing to laugh and connect with me. It was a great interview! As a JD/MBA candidate, it seemed that she was more interested in my motivation and mindset than experience. I believe my questions are different than the normal MBA interview questions. Tell me about your current position? What do you do there? Why did you choose this position? How do you describe your leadership

The following Duke / Fuqua interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them! Interview was with a second-year, blind based. All behavioral questions. Walk me through your résumé Asked me a specific question on my work experience and how I increased efficiency at a specific position. Why MBA? Why Duke? What are some clubs I am interested in at Duke? I felt like my interviewer kept looking at the time a lot since he was rushing in for the interview and seemed like he rushed out as well. What I noticed

London Business School Interview Report: Round 2 / Alumnus / Off-Campus
The following London Business School interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them! I interviewed at the office of an LBS alumnus. The interview was not blind, and the alumnus had a solid understanding of my professional and personal background. LBS structures interviews in 3 stages: (i) questions about the applicant’s background, (ii) a 5-minute case presentation, and (iii) general discussion about the alumnus’ LBS experience. I was first asked to provide an overview of my professional and personal background. From there, our conversation turned to my interest in an MBA, and

Northwestern / Kellogg Interview Report: Round 2 / Alumnus / Off-campus
The following Northwestern / Kellogg interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them! It was a 30 minute interview with an alumnus. Here are the questions: Introduce yourself What’s my career aspiration? What’s my strength/weakness? 3 words that your boss/colleague/juniors describe you Ask about teamwork/leadership experience What’s most challenging? Do you have any questions? Overall, it was a pretty standard interview. There wasn’t any questions that I was surprised about. It was pretty quick too. I guess the interview at Kellogg does not weigh as much as other school’s. INSEAD Interview Report: Round 3 / Alumni / Off-campus
The following INSEAD interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 3 applicant. Good luck to them! This website really helped me a lot when I was preparing for the interview. So, I’m returning the favor 🙂 I was invited to two separate interviews with two INSEAD alumni off-campus. Both interviewers were friendly and the interviews were more like a relaxed conversation. One thing I would say is that I felt like INSEAD carefully chose the interviewers who have something in common with you. The interviewers are I think at least 10 years older than me. They are very

Duke / Fuqua Interview Report: Round 2 / Second-year student / On-Campus
The following Duke / Fuqua interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by an Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them! I was very nervous but actually really enjoyed this interview. I found out from talking to a current student that the second-year students go through a rigorous application and interview process themselves to become admissions ambassadors. They are then very well-trained in how to conduct interviews. This was absolutely reflected in our conversation. The conversation was really fluid even though it was driven by many interview questions. It was easy to fill the time (it actually ran about one hour).

The following U. Chicago Booth interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. This was a blind interview off-campus in a hub city with a 2014 alum. all they had beforehand was my résumé. Why Booth/ Why Chicago? 4. What are your career goals? 5. What Clubs will you get involved with and what

The following London Business School interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them! I recently interview with an alumnus for Round 2. The LBS e-mail said the interview would last from anywhere between 1 to 2 hours. The reviewer had my application, so it was not a blind interview. At the beginning, the interviewer introduced himself briefly and spoke about the structure of the interview and said that he expected it to last about 1 hour 30 mins. It was divided into 4 broad sections First section was about my

Duke / Fuqua Interview Report: Round 2 / Second-year Student / On-Campus
The following Duke / Fuqua interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by an Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them! I completed my interview on campus with a second year student. The interview was my last event of the day following a class visit and building tour. Everyone I met was especially friendly and welcoming including my interviewer. Duke / Fuqua Interview Report: Early Decision / Second-year Student/ On-Campus
The following Duke / Fuqua interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by an Early Decision applicant. When you arrive on the admissions floor, you sit in groups on the couches with the other people interviewing and a first year student who you can ask questions to. After about 20 minutes, the second year students who are doing the interview walk over and start grabbing people and bring them into the interview rooms. The interview lasted 30 minutes and was conversational. He was truly interested in what I had to say. Some of the questions I was asked were:

The following Duke / Fuqua interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by an Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them! I had my Duke Fuqua interview last week over Skype and it was a very relaxed conversation. It was with a member of Fuqua’s admissions office but he had not read my application. The interviewer told me what the flow of the interview would be, just as we started and the pattern followed it. 1) Undergraduate education – What

The following U. Chicago Booth interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them! Georgetown / McDonough Interview Report: Round 2 / Adcom / Skype
The following Georgetown / McDonough interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them! The interview lasted about 35 minutes. The woman was really nice, but she was asking some odd questions about where I was applying towards the end–I think trying to awkwardly gauge whether I would in fact attend Georgetown if they admitted me. 1) Walk me through your résumé. 2) Why an MBA? 3) Why Georgetown? 4) Tell me about a time you had difficulty with a team/team member, and what you did to improve that relationship.

Michigan / Ross Interview Report: Round 2 / Second-year Student / On-Campus
The following Michigan / Ross interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them! I really enjoyed my interview day at Ross, but the actual interview was a bit hard to read. First, my interviewer took copious notes on his laptop. He explained that he was trying to capture everything that I presented, which is great, but it also had the effect that we never made much eye contact and he didn’t react to what I was saying. So, be prepared for that, and try not to let it mess up your flow. Questions:

It was blind and my interviewer had only seen my résumé beforehand. The interview started out by the alumnus telling me that I should be at ease. The following UPenn / Wharton interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them! Overall great experience. On interview day you have the option to attend a lunch with current students, attend a class of your choosing, and depending on the day you interview, attend a happy hour with current students. I opted for all of them and highly recommend others do the same. For the interview, all the students interviewing in the same time slot waited in the lobby area giving everyone the opportunity to chat, *learn each others names*, and just relax a bit.

Georgetown / McDonough Interview Report: Round 2 / Second-year student / On-campus
The following Georgetown / McDonough interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them! My interview at McDonough was very relaxed and straight-forward. My interviewer was a second-year student who was very nice, though she was an international student so I felt there was a bit of a language barrier. The questions were pretty typical: – Tell me about yourself and your experiences (I walked her through my resume) – Why an MBA? Why Georgetown? – Tell me about a time you demonstrated leadership – Tell me about a time you

The following UNC Kenan-Flagler interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 3 applicant. Good luck to them! I did the whole day visit on campus. It was very well organized and gave a great impression of the school – even during down times student ambassadors stayed in the admissions office and chatted with the prospective students. The interview was blind and seemed a little more formal but still stuck to the basic questions: 1. Walk me through your résumé 2. Why MBA? 3. Why Kenan-Flagler? Conversation was sparked off of

The following NYU / Stern interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant who was admitted. Congratulations to them! I had been to the adcom office the day before my interview for the “lunch with a student” program, so I knew where to go on the day of my interview. Nevertheless, I arrived 15 minutes early to cool down before the interview. The adcom secretary gave me a T-shirt, but no additional information about the school or clubs I was interested in, as I had read in others’ interview reports from previous years. The interviewer walked me
