Hi! I wanted to give back to the community by sharing my NYU Stern interview report. I interviewed in late October 2024. It’s true what they say: NYU heavily tailors the interview to the applicant, and the interviews are more free-form than other schools. With an AdCom member, they were very familiar with my application and resume, and incredibly friendly. Started with a friendly Q about my Pick 6. Other Questions – How did you get your current job? – What are some recruiting resources at Stern you’d use? – What are some companies you’d target for an internship / FT role? – Why did you decide to go into apps & apps marketing and why do you want to switch to CPG marketing? – When was a time you had to convince people to get behind an idea?

NYU Stern MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Adcom / Zoom
Interview with adcom who already read my application. Questions were quite straightforward and overall it was a relaxed interview. Questions asked: Biggest achievement? 3 words to describe your strengths and give examples. A mistake you made and how you overcame it. Why MBA? Why Stern?
