Michigan Ross MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Alumnus / Virtual
It was a pretty short and standard questions interview. It lasted around 25 minutes and 5 minutes for questions to the interviewer at the end. Questions: 1. Tell me about yourself. 2. Why MBA? 3. How do you see Ross contributing to achieving these goals? (as I told him that the MBA would help me to achieve my future goals) 4. Tell a time you received negative feedback. 5. Tell me a time you led a team. He was an alumnus and was friendly and relaxed. After his questions, I asked him about

Vanderbilt Owen MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / Virtual
The interview is blind – they only have access to your resume. As far as the questions go, there weren’t any curveballs; I got ones regarding obstacles I’ve overcome, short/long-term goals, how I work in diverse settings, why Owen, why MBA, strengths/weaknesses, etc. There was about 10 minutes at the end to ask the interviewer some questions of my own. Overall, it wasn’t a tough interview, but I would have liked if it were a bit more conversational.

UCLA Anderson MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / On Campus
Very conversational and enjoyable. Nothing difficult at all. The interviewer made sure to keep to 30mins. I flew in to do the interview because I know most aren’t doing them IRL and I wanted to be able to see the campus. Would definitely recommend others do that as well. Questions were basic ones others have said: – Tell me about yourself. – Why MBA? Why Anderson? – Plan B? – TMAAT when you were a part of a team.

Northwestern Kellogg MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Alumnus / Virtual
Alum was very responsive and friendly when we set up the virtual interview. When the interview started, he set the stage and expressed that he was trying to create a low-stress, casual conversation. Also, he emphasized strongly that his notes on the interview were just a small part of my application and that the Kellogg Adcom are very holistic in how they review candidates. We had a good conversation that flowed through questions that came up naturally–no surprises. The questions were: 1. Walk me through your resume. 2. Why MBA? 3. Why Kellogg? 4. What do you

Northwestern Kellogg MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Alumnus / Zoom
Had my Kellogg interview with an alumnus, over Zoom – it was a blind interview and they had only seen my resume. We exchanged emails prior to the interview to set up a date and time. They were super candid when answering all my questions. 1. Walk me through your resume. 2. What does your day-to-day look like? 3. Why MBA? 4. Could you achieve your goals without an MBA? 5. Tell me more about why Kellogg (I had already mentioned why Kellogg in some of my earlier answers). 6. What is your leadership philosophy?

Michigan Ross MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Alumnus / Google Meet
My interviewer was friendly and it felt like a casual conversation as if I was networking with some employee. I am working as a software engineer for 3 years now and I plan to move into PM roles Post-MBA. 1. Tell me about yourself. 2. I mentioned about an application I worked on. He asked me a couple questions on what is the purpose of the app and how I was able to achieve that purpose through my work. Berkeley Haas MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Alumnus / Google Meet
Interview date – Nov 2nd 2022 Result – Admitted I have heard that Haas interviews have 1 or 2 unexpected questions. I felt it during my interview as well. Haas gives importance to diversity – that is evident from their website and they ask a question related to DEI in the interview for sure. The interview was scheduled for 45 minutes, but went for more than an hour. The interviewer was writing down a few points in between. The interview was neither very casual nor very strict. It was a healthy discussion. Here are the questions I was asked:

LBS MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Alumna / Zoom
Final Decision: Admitted with Merit Scholarship It was a very predictable and structured interview and started with the alumna introducing herself and explaining the structure of the interview and about the Case Study, which would be taken up a little later. 1. We started with, Walk me through your resume. 2. Why MBA? 3. Best thing about your current job? 4. Most impactful international trip and why? This is where it became more informal and I could see building a rapport with the interviewer. 5. Post-MBA Goal? 6. Where would you want to work

UVA Darden MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Student / Zoom
Very casual interview like other reports have said. The student didn’t give really any info about themselves. I just went into my story from childhood to present day. No real traditional interview questions at all other than once I said that I had direct reports I was asked, “Have you ever had to give negative feedback? How did you handle it?” She stopped me from time to time to dig further, but I was talking 90% of the time. After about 20 mins, she said she had what she needed and then turned it over to me for questions. The

USC Marshall MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Adcom / Zoom
I interviewed with a member of the admissions committee this week. I do not believe she had seen my application, only my resume. My interview lasted 30 minutes. What do you attribute to the success of your career? Why do you want an MBA? What are your post-MBA goals? Why Marshall? What will you bring to Marshall? Have you talked to any students or alumni? UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Adcom / Skype
The interview was very laid back. The Adcom was friendly and laid back. She started out with the basics questions; Tell me about yourself (walk me through your resume), why an MBA, and why Kenan-Flagler. We then moved into the behavioral questions. The one that caught me off guard was speaking about a time where your team failed due to another person. All in all I could tell through this interview that the school lives up to their friendly/not cut throat reputation.

Michigan Ross MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Alumnus / Zoom
I interviewed in the first round for Michigan Ross on October 30, 2022. The interview took place over Zoom and was with a recent alumnus who was located in my current city and desired post-MBA career. The interview was very laid back and was a mixture of resume-based questions and then also behavioral with plenty of time to ask questions at the end. The interview questions were very typical of what was listed in the 2021 interviews: 1. Walk me through your resume. 2. Why MBA? 3. What has been your greatest failure? 4. Talk about a

Michigan Ross MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Alumna / Zoom
This interview was conducted via Zoom during the last week of October 2022 for Round 1 admission. I was paired with a recent alumna and asked to reach out to her to schedule an interview. Make sure you are not using a free version of Zoom, for example, as I was cut off after 40 minutes! I was able to hop back on, but something to keep in mind. We were just finishing up so I would expect about 40 minutes for the interview length. The interview was very casual and I was admitted in Round 1. After she introduced

Applied December 15th, 2022; Interview invite January 10th, 2023; Interview January 18th; Admit January 27th Overall the interview was really conversational and welcoming. The interviewer was so nice and kept complimenting my answers and providing support after each answer. The 30 minutes flew by and I thought it went pretty well. As the interviewer had gone through my file, she didn’t ask me “Why Stern” or “tell me about yourself.” The first question opened with a comment about my pick 6. 1. Why MBA? 2. What type of role do you find yourself playing in teams?/ What is your

I obtained an interview from Emory a week after the Round 2 application deadline. I had a virtual interview with and Admissions Advisor. She was extremely kind and the interview was very professional and conversational. It was a blind interview and resume based. Asked my background, walk through my background. Why I decided to move from company to company. An example of teamwork and leadership. What those teammates would describe me as. I only had time for 1 question, but was able to follow-up with more through email. For my interview, I prepared for all the possible question variations from
