HBS Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Adcom / Off-Campus
I initially scheduled a Skype interview, but finally decided to fly to Dubai for an in-person interview, which is better for me as I was not sure about how convincing I seem on a webcam. I arrived 20 minutes prior the interview as requested and the lady called me 1 min before the interview time, allowing me to enter the room and start on time. The discussion started with 2 min news related topics and we jumped into a resume-based interview. The questions are below. Overall, the person was very friendly, no softball questions, but a lot of followup questions.

Berkeley Haas Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Alum / Off-Campus
Context: My Round 2 Berkeley Haas interview occurred in mid-March 2020, was with an alum in the Boston area, and was blind, or i.e. the interviewer had only seen my resume. I was invited to interview in mid-February about 5 weeks after I submitted my application in January on the Round 2 deadline day. I have been admitted and was notified via a phone call a day before the decision deadline. Experience Overview and Summary: As many have people have written, the interview was easy going. UCLA Anderson Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / On-Campus
I participated in the school’s Super Saturday interview day on Saturday, February 1st. My interview took place at 11:15AM, and afterward the school provided lunch and a half-day of programming. I loved having the chance to connect with potential classmates, see the new building, and learn about the school’s offerings. It was super informative and an efficient use of time. My interview was with a second-year student, also a woman, and it was blind. We went into a private room and she had a printed copy of my resume that she had already read through. Overall, the questions were fairly

Chicago Booth Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Alumnus / Off-campus
Very casual interview, more behavioral in nature. Was not application based, interviewees are asked to send their resumes to the interviewer ahead of time. Asked about previous work experience, talked about some of the projects that I have worked on and interactions with team members. Asked about my goals and motivations for an MBA and why Booth. Nothing out of left field, very conversational.

Chicago Booth Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Alumnus / Off-campus
The interview was blind and was conducted at a local coffee shop not far from my home. I received the interview invite during the last day of the invite release, and it took around 1 week to schedule the interview with an alumnus. From the start, it was clear that the interview was meant to be more conversational and casual, and the setting was perfectly conducive for that objective. The questions I was asked were fairly straightforward and standard, and I didn’t feel that there were any “gotcha” moments. It really seemed that the interviewer was trying to gauge my

Michigan Ross Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / On-Campus
Out of all the schools I applied to, Ross by far had the most structured day and was the most well-coordinated, well-planned and immersive experience. I really appreciated this about Ross. Everything from the complimentary notebooks, breakfast spread, tight schedule and availability of adcom/students really made a very good impression on me. Check-in started early in the day and the whole group of interviewees were then split into two groups to interview. My interviewer was a current student who was very engaging and well-meaning. No surprise questions here besides going through your resume, normal behavioral questions, why Ross and questions

NYU Stern Interview Questions & Report: Round 3 / AdCom / Zoom
The interview was conducted via Zoom due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The interviewer was a member of AdCom who was very friendly. Overall, the interview had a very conversational tone and was not stressful at all. We mostly covered standard business school questions and there were very few behavioral questions, but this could be because they did not have any, given what they saw in my application. Here are the questions as best as I can remember them: 1. Icebreaker diving into one of my Pick Six pictures/captions. 2. Tell me about your current role and why you selected

Cornell Johnson Interview Questions & Report: Round 3 / Adcom / Skype
My January round interview occurred in March. The interview was conducted on Skype by an admissions officer who claims that he had my resume along with application notes. He did not mention that he read my essays. In June, I was accepted into the Johnson community! Experience summary: Most of the time was spent on prepared questions which were standard, but some spotlight was pointed on a shared hobby in my resume. He was significantly more interested in learning about my people skills and enjoyed hearing about my fit with the Johnson students. Interviewer was mostly busy writing notes as I answered

INSEAD Interview Questions & Report: Round 3 / Alumnus / Off-Campus
I had 2 separate interviews – one with a recent alum and the other with somebody who graduated probably 15+ years ago. I had to send in my full application (essays, test scores, etc.) to the interviewer ahead of time. Both interviews lasted about 45 mins. My first interviewer wanted the interview to be open and was more of a conversation. She had me walk through my resume and then we just chatted about what influenced me to make my career choices. She didn’t have any behavioral questions ,but really pressed why I wanted to go to INSEAD. My second

UNC Kenan-Flagler Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / On-Campus
Decided to do the interview on campus. Interviewer who was a Year 2 student already had a copy of my resume; hence, questions were very specific. Asked the following: Walk though my story (2-3 minutes). Short- and Long-Term goals? Why UNC? Why an MBA? (Important to focus on how prior experience is helpful to your career path, but at the same time where you are lacking, and the value of an MBA. Also bring up specific clubs that are relevant from a professional aspect.) Any questions for me? (Asked him personal questions on his experience on campus and taking classes

Columbia Business School Interview Questions & Report: Early Decision / Alum / Off-Campus
My interviewer was a BCG consultant and I interviewed at his office after a full-day campus interview. I can tell he was pretty tired. He took lots of notes during the interview. Questions were mainly about my career aspirations and how to achieve these goals. Only one behavioral question regarding my leadership story. The whole conversation went really well and at the end of the interview he gave me lots of advice regarding resources from Columbia and even personal contacts to connect with. Hope this will help more people preparing for interviews. Good luck!

NYU Stern Interview Questions & Report: Round 3 / Adcom / Skype
The interview was quite short. The interviewer started off with small talk. She was very friendly and casual. She asked about an undergrad experience, my thoughts behind each career transition, why now, how to achieve my post-MBA goal, what surprised me. She also took a couple of questions from me. The whole conversation ended in 20 mins. Received the offer after two weeks. I think the key is to show that you are clear with what you want to do after graduation and what Stern can offer to help you achieve that goal. There were no trick questions. Hope this

UPenn Wharton Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / On-Campus
With the COVID-19 impacting interviews across schools, I wasn’t sure if Wharton was going to cancel the on-campus interviews, especially after hearing that the Tokyo sessions were cancelled, but I was able to get to campus and participate in the other events as well. Scheduling I scheduled for the 3:30 pm time slot so I could participate in the events (a mock lecture with lunch and a campus tour) beforehand and have some time before the TBD to do last-minute prep. Pre-Interview Events I enjoyed the mock lecture and the campus tour, but there were many people, so
