Emory / Goizueta MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Adcom / On-campus
I had a great interview with a member of the emory adcom in Atlanta. The interview was around fit and behaviors. Some questions I remember Questions How did you choose your current firm? Why your undergrad? ST/LT goals? Why and MBA from Emory? Leadership moment in your professional journey? Why consulting? How will you achieve your goals? Any questions for me? Very conversational, and the adcom member was very nice. They want to just know if you will fit in at Emory and if you can be eloquent and concisely portray your thoughts.

Duke / Fuqua MBA Interview Questions & Reports: R2 / Alumnus / India
My MBA admissions interview at Fuqua was 2 hours long which was unexpected. I got many behavioral questions which my interviewer wanted me to answer with particular job experiences per my resume. In the end, he told me about his experience and if there was anything else I wanted to add. The interview was at a hotel. The interviewer was dressed pretty casually but I was in formals. He seemed nice but it felt less like a conversation and more like an interview. Questions LT/ST goals Describe a time you had to motivate your time How do you resolve conflict?

UC Berkeley Haas MBA interview questions were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 candidate who interviewed off-campus: The interviewer was very friendly, and the interview went like a casual conversation. Harvard Business School MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Adcom / On-Campus
The Harvard MBA admissions interview was really relaxed — I truly got the sense my interviewer was just looking to get to know me. The visit was good. There were lots of activities (classes, lunch with the director, tours, chats, etc) during the day you could pick to be a part of. I found that everyone else interviewing was also really nice. We all chatted in the waiting area 15 minutes before our interview and right up until we each got pulled into the private rooms with our interviewers. My interviewer was very sweet — kept telling me that none

London Business School Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Alumnus / Off-campus (New Delhi)
For LBS, The interview was with an alumnus, with about 12 years of post-MBA experience. The interview began smoothly, despite some nervousness; on account of it being by my first ever interview experience. The interviewer asked with a traditional “tell me more about yourself”. While it was a non-blind interview and he had my application documents and essay printed with him, it did not really look like he had gone through it in detail. What really helped was that while I ensured I answered to the point, I tried to leave some open ends for him to pick up on.

Yale SOM MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Adcom / On Campus
I applied Round 2, and went to campus for my interview and a day of programming. We met adcom members, had a formal intro by the Dean of Admissions, a Faculty lecture, student panel, clubs meet and greet, school tours [SOM & Yale University] and closing reception. Overall it was a great, friendly experience. Yale keeps interviews pretty standard, with 30 minutes time limit almost on the dot. The interviews are blind so the interviewer has your resume as their only reference of your application. The adcom member was friendly, and asked pretty standard questions that were on her rubric.

Northwestern / Kellogg MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Alumnus / Downtown Campus
I applied to the Spring-2019 Evening & Weekend MBA intake and my interview-slot was 10 days post application submission. My partner and I applied together and our initial interview-slots were 4 days apart but the Ad-Com was very supportive in moving their schedule around to accommodate us both on the same day, making it easier for us to plan our logistics in and out of Chicago. I clubbed my Saturday with a class-visit in the morning and interview post-lunch. A student hosted me through the class-visit and I had good conversation with the host-student, with other students in class, and

I applied in Round 2 and received instructions to schedule interview with a local alumnus within one week of submission of my application. Interviewer asked me to meet him in a café. I arrived 20 min early in business casual. The interviewer came on time and was very friendly and casual. Had some small talk before the walk me thru your resume question. Generally very casual follow-up questions at different points during my answer. Questions Like why you changed your major in college. How did you resolve this conflict. Etc. That was followed by tell me about a time when

Harvard Business School MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Adcom / On-Campus
A Harvard Business School MBA interview report with questions were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 1 applicant. All the candidates for my interview time slot waited in the waiting room together. Honestly, you could feel the tension and nervousness of everyone around you (people were playing with the Legos provided at each table). However, the interview itself was much much more casual than I thought…to a point, where you feel great after but then wonder if you messed up because it was so casual. Advice I could honestly say that I’ve heard the same from some admits, and

Wharton MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Off-campus
A Wharton MBA interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 1 applicant off-campus. Interviewed at the off-campus hub. Had a networking reception before my actual interview. The group discussion was engaging and collaborative. There was a person in my group who was extremely pushy and people viewed him negatively – I would recommend trying to not do that. We started by each one of us sharing our points of view. We then engaged in a group discussion talking about the merits of each idea. We then summarized our plan. It went very smoothly and we were conscious

Know your story inside and out and be prepared to elaborate on any aspects as my interviewer followed-up on a few questions based on what I said in the previous question. Reception was very friendly and offered coffee / tea / juice, and possibly breakfast pastries. A Wharton MBA interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 1 applicant on-campus who took part in their Team Based Discussion. I arrived at the interview around 15 minutes early. Was able to meet with fellow interviewees who were part of my Team Based Discussion (TBD) group — I interviewed in a hub city so, at least for my time slot, everyone in the lobby at the time was in my group.
