Duke Fuqua MBA Interview Questions & Report: Early Action / Alumnus / Microsoft Teams
The interviewer was a senior alum – very cordial and pleasant to talk with. He said at the beginning he would ask 5 questions. He asked – Why MBA & Why Fuqua, Goals, TMAT when you had to give a bad review to someone, TMAT when you got a feedback you didn’t agree with, What is your communicative style (with your team). It was around 25-30 minutes, but I think the interview went well. Fuqua alums are great ambassadors of their school, and I’m looking forward to EA decisions!

Dartmouth Tuck MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Second-Year Student / Zoom
The interview was very relaxed and communicative. The interviewer started by introducing herself and then asked the standard questions – Why MBA? Why Tuck? ST/LT Goals? Diversity example? Leadership example. After these qs, she gave me an opportunity to ask about her experience. I asked her about her FYP, internship and club related questions. Overall, it was a pleasant experience for me – the interview was 50 mins. I believe Tuck interviewers are very enthusiastic to get to know you and share their experiences, and I’m looking forward to decisions.

Dartmouth Tuck MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Second-Year Student / Zoom
It was a conversational interview. The interviewer gave a brief intro about herself and then informed me that she only had access to my resume, thus she would base the interview on that only. Questions asked were as follows: 1. Walk me through your resume. 2. Why MBA? 3. Why Tuck? 4. Short-term and long-term goals? 5. Time when out of comfort zone. 6. Proudest moment? 7. Critical feedback you gave to someone? 8. Someone you did not go along with? 9. Any questions for me. Interview went well. No odd balls.

Duke Fuqua MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Second-Year Student / Zoom
Set up interview during the open interview period. Was matched with a 2Y within 3 days and was easy to set up a mutual time with my interviewer. Interview lasted ~50 minutes, broken up into 10 minutes of small talk / introductions, 30 minutes of formal interview, and 10 minutes of additional small talk / my questions at the end. Was very conversational and the interviewer game feedback. Interview was semi-blind, I believe the interviewer only had my linkedin/resume. Questions (not in order) -Tell me about yourself. -What are you biggest strengths? -What does diversity mean to

Northwestern Kellogg MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Adcom / Zoom
Interviewer was warm and engaging, though I could tell she was trying to mask her expressions. Honestly, I anticipated more questions and more TMAT questions, but maybe I was just rambling too long. Interview lasted about 35m. Very standard questions with the exception of 4, which I thought was interesting. 1. Walk me through your resume. 2. Why X for undegrad, why X major? 3. Tell me about your leadership style. 4. What distinguishes you from others in your cohort (e.g. IB, Consulting, PE)? 4. Short and LT career goals? 5. Why MBA? 6.

UVA Darden MBA Interview Questions & Report: Early Action / Second-Year Student / On Campus
The interview was not as conversational as everyone said it would be. It appeared as if it was the student’s first interview ever, so she read questions off her laptop the entire time and didn’t appear to listen to my answers. She constantly interrupted me and asked questions I had already answered. Questions were as expected: walk me through your resume, why MBA/why Darden, career goals, is there anything else you’d like me to know.

IE Business School MBA Interview Questions & Report: Adcom / Virtual
It was a mixture of a resumé- and application-based interview with fairly standard questions: Tell us about yourself. Why do you want to study here? What makes you a good candidate? Can you tell us about a time where you had to deliver bad news? The only diversion from the typical script came in a longer question where I was asked what I would do, what steps I would take, where would I look in the bowels of the company, if consulting for a business who’s turnover had increased since last year, but profits had decreased. This was a sufficiently

HBS MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Adcom / Zoom
The interviewer (a senior adcom member who was also an HBS grad) was so nice and welcoming – really made me feel at ease throughout the process, and it felt really fun! 30 mins went by really quickly, and it did not feel like a rapid-fire Q&A at all. Was surprised at how many questions there are about my prior employer! Here is the list of questions: Why did you pick your undergrad college? How was the exchange program (when you were a high school student) structured? How did you pick your prior employer and move to a different city?

Duke Fuqua MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / Zoom
The interviewer was a second-year US student at Fuqua, who was energetic, engaging and seemed interested in my background and work experience. The interview lasted about 50 mins, with the last 20 mins for me to ask him some questions about his experience at Fuqua. The interview felt different compared to other alumni interviews I experienced, as the interviewer gave his thoughts/comments after each question. It felt casual like a conversation with a friend, which helped to put me at ease. Here is the list of questions: How is this week going so far for you? How did you transition

The interviewer (a Haas alum from the emerging market) was nice and straightforward, asking exactly 5 questions as she laid out the structure before the interview (not counting follow-ups). She seemed nice and curious; it was a laid-back interview. Was surprised that there was no “Walk me through your resume” question. The interview lasted about 50 mins, with the last 20 mins for me to ask her some questions about her experience at Haas. Here is the list of questions: Why MBA now? Why Haas? Northwestern Kellogg MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Alumnus / Zoom
The interviewer (a Kellogg 2Y alum from my home country) was nice and straightforward, asking questions related to points on my resume and then the typical Why MBA now/why Kellogg (which was closer to the end of the interview, surprisingly). She seemed genuinely curious about my career transitions, my work and community service, and my values as a collaborative team player. The interview lasted about an hour, with the last 10-15 mins for me to ask her some questions about her exp at Kellogg. Here is the list of questions: Walk me through your resume. Is your current community service

Casual, but straightforward, interview, which put me at ease as I had some issues with the webcam at the beginning of the interview. Here are the questions: Any updates to your application that you would like us to know about? Tell me about your data visualization. Follow up on data visualization. Tell me about how you joined your current startup (is it pandemic impacted,
