UNC Kenan-Flagler Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Adcom / Zoom
I was interviewed by an AdCom via Zoom. It was resume-based as according to her she was yet to see my complete application aside from the resume. Cornell Johnson Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Adcom / Virtual
My interview was conducted online, and the interviewer was a Cornell Adcom. She was interested in getting to know about my short-term and long-term goals. Along with why I wanted to pursue an MBA at Cornell. I thought she was a very pleasant person to speak to and I felt very comfortable speaking to her. The interview was based mostly around my resume along with a few behavioural questions. Based off the interview, I would say that the people at Cornell are really friendly and interested in getting to know you. I will be matriculating there this fall.

Interview was 30 minutes of initial intro and questions about me. Last 10-15 were for me to ask questions of her. Overall tone was very friendly and conversational. It was an interview by a second-year student virtually via Zoom. It was profile-based questions followed by situation-based questions and lasted for 45 minutes. The interviewer lived up to Tuck’s reputation and was super nice and made me feel extremely relaxed and comfortable. No surprises in terms of questions, they were all per usual. Stanford GSB Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Alumnus / Virtual
The interview was formal, but still casual. We had a minute or two of small talk before the interviewer jumped right into it, giving me background on himself, allowing me to ask him questions about his professional experiences. Stanford GSB MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Alumnus / Zoom
It was a stressful interview, no introductions or friendly banter. Interviewer outlined the format of the interview (40 min behavioral Qs, 10 min for 1-2 questions) then started right away. Each question probed deeper into my decision making and he even asked about the thought processes of peers and subordinates under me. Duke Fuqua MBA Interview Questions & Report: Early Action / Second-Year Student / Zoom
The interview was very casual and conversational. UVA Darden MBA Interview Questions & Report: Early Action / Second-Year Student / Zoom
Darden has a completely blind 45 min interview, the student or the adcom has not seen the application or the resume. The first question was ‘Tell me about yourself’ to which I talked for 15 mins. He followed with the following questions: – What is your leadership style? – How do you incorporate diversity in your team? – Strengths and weaknesses. – Any questions for me? Overall, this was one of the best interviews that I had as the 15 min monologue had set the tone of the interview. There was nothing surprising.

TBD: The TBD experience was pretty friendly and we had 6 people in total from diverse backgrounds in our discussion group. The facililator started with rules of the TBD and set the countdown. We then focused on each question in the prompt and finished around the countdown of the given time frame. Interview was on Zoom with an alumnus based in Chicago working in tech and a former MBB consultant. The vibe was relaxed, although the interviewer was a little ranty, telling me why consulting work-life balance sucked and why he’s glad he got out.
