Georgetown McDonough Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / First-Year Student / On-Campus
I had an on-campus interview with a first-year student. The interview was held in the MBA admissions office, which was a small suite of offices in the impressive McDonough building. The check-in process was quick and easy, and everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. The interview lasted a little over 30 minutes and was very conversational. Wharton Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / On-Campus
Visit: Welcoming tenor from admissions office staff guiding daily events to class visits and panel lunch Type of Interview: Two-part. First, team-based discussion overseen by two second year students. Next, a ten minute one-on-one session with one of those second year students. One-on-one was blind. Georgetown / McDonough MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Adcom / On Campus
The interview was blind. She only had my resume to reference, which I was requested to bring ahead of time. The interview was pretty conversational, and it lasted for about 25 minutes with five minutes remaining at the end for me to ask questions. I had my interview scheduled as an in-person interview during the Adcom visit to my country. The whole interview was a very positive and pleasant experience. I had a great experience visiting and interviewing at Georgetown. I interviewed on February 27, 2020, and the interview was blind. Let me start by saying that everybody on campus is super nice. The interview went just as what the reports on Clear Admit said. It was very conversational and had a lot of questions about the working experience, career choice and recruitment strategy. UNC Kenan-Flagler Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Adcom / On-Campus
Started a couple minutes late, but relatively informal in the adcom member’s office. The interviewer had not read my essays. I mostly ran through my background, talked about what led me to an MBA and why Kenan-Flagler. I was positioning myself for tech and got some follow-up questions on why I couldn’t get where I wanted to without additional schooling (I currently am an analyst at a start-up), so I’m glad I had prepped with some very specific reasons. Honestly it wasn’t my best interview ever, but I did receive an offer.

Wharton Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / On-Campus
Everyone knows Wharton uses the “Team-Based Discussion” (TBD) format for their interviews, so if you are invited to interview you will be given a prompt with some deliverables that you *should* prepare some thoughts/answers to before arriving. No need to do extensive research, but be able to justify your ideas. At least this year they permit you to bring in notes, which again takes some pressure off. UT Austin McCombs Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / On-Campus
The interview was very straight forward. We walked to a room in Rowling Hall and my interviewer had a sheet with questions. We first went through my resume before I got asked a series of standard questions – nothing out of the ordinary. I then had an opportunity to ask questions of my own, which turned into a very productive and insightful conversation. Overall, the interview started off a little stiff, but loosened up as it progressed.

Interviewed with senior adcom member at UVA Darden in late February. The interview lasted for a duration of 30 minutes. Questions asked were: Walk me through your resume, Why MBA and Why Darden? Dartmouth Tuck Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / Skype
The interview was blind and the interviewer had me walk him through my resume. Questions included: Why MBA? Why now? Why Tuck? What are your biggest strengths and weaknesses? I told him my thoughts about the motto of the school and that seemed to surprise him as he had not even considered it. The interview was very open. The interviewer started with “Tell me about yourself.” I quickly brought up my upbringing, college experience, etc., but focused most of the answer on my resume. With AdCom member, part of traveling interview tour, application-based. Questions: Any updates to your application? Describe a time when you got pushback from a supervisor/team member. In fairness, I had met the interviewer during a previous campus visit, so this might have made the introduction easier. I interviewed with a member of the adcom. They asked me to tell them about myself — it was open very open ended and the interview was blind. I was told by a friend beforehand that I should be expected to talk for 5-10 minutes in the beginning though. After my summary, I was asked about how I deal with conflict. Duke Fuqua Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / On-Campus
I interviewed on-campus with a second-year student. The interview was blind and very standard. The interviewer asked the typical behavioral questions like “tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult coworker” or “tell me about your leadership style.” There were no unexpected questions and the interviewer treated it more as a conversation. One thing I liked about Fuqua compared to other schools I interviewed at was that Fuqua wasn’t trying to sell you on the school. They gave their honest opinions and experiences and wanted to see if you saw yourself there.

UVA Darden Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / On-Campus
The interview was a blind interview. I was interviewed by a second-year student and the interview was fairly informal and conversational. The interviewer started with an open-ended “tell me about yourself,” where I was prompted to give my life story, not just what was on my resume. The interviewer took no notes, but periodically stopped me to ask for clarity or more detail. There were no situational questions. Everybody at Darden was really friendly and everybody I met genuinely wanted to get to know me.

My LBS interview took place at Starbucks with an alumnus. He is working in the VC/PE space and I have worked in startups, so I think that was a common link.
