HBS Reduces Class Size for Fall 2020
Harvard Business School is expecting 720 MBA students to enroll this fall, which is roughly 20 percent smaller than its typical class size of around 930. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, students accepted for the Class of 2022 had until June 1st to submit a request to defer for one or two years. Forté Foundation Annual Impact Report – Diversity & Women in Business
The Forté Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women in business, and, according to their Annual Impact Report of 2019, they’ve excelled in their mission. The business landscape for women is one of underrepresentation. When it comes to S&P 500 companies, less than six percent of CEOs and only 21.2 percent of board members are women. Fundraising by Wharton EMBAs Supports Frontlines of COVID-19 Response
A team of 10 Executive MBA students from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania have banded together to deliver personal protective equipment (PPE) to those on the frontlines of the COVID-19 battle. ETS Unveils GRE at Home – Test Temporarily Available Online
Test Offered Online In Wake of COVID-19 Test Center Closings As of March 23rd, the GRE exam will be available to take from the comfort of your home. In light of public health concerns, ETS has made the exam available online in some markets. Those markets are as follows: United States Canada Colombia France Germany Italy Spain Hong Kong (China) Macau (China) There are other requirements as well, including specific hardware and environment thresholds (so you’ll want to check your computer system against ETS’s requirements, and make sure that you have an appropriate room in which to take the test).
