I am an international student and taking on debt poses serious challenges given the current market conditions. I would like to keep my options open post MBA to move out of the country as well and I am not sure how Ross’ reputation fits in the international market. Would really appreciate some insights!

I am torn on where to go. My ideal post MBA role is to join a leadership development program (LDP) in Chicago. I am torn between Ross and Kelley. At Kelley I received a full deans fellowship scholarship. Kelley places well in Chicago and has great employment report numbers. However Ross is extremely prestigious and excels at general management.

I am undecided right now between Vanderbilt and UT. Personally, I live close to Nashville and would be close to family, as well have several friends entering into this program who are also vets like myself. Professionally I also believe Owen swings above their weight in consulting; however I admit I do know UT having a better rank. Thoughts?

Coming from an MBB background and looking to pivot into brand management in CPG. Both programs have good cultures, but concern with Fuqua is similar experience (grew up in NC and attended school in NC) vs going somewhere different with Ross. Can't ignore the scholarship at Fuqua (attempting to negotiate with Ross), but don't know which to choose.

Non-European looking to work there post MBA(Spain > UK > Netherlands > Others), Spanish B1.IESE feels like the best fit, but it’s more expensive (vs. full ride at Oxford). Concerned about the Spanish job market, though I prefer living in Spain for better quality of life. Open to work in anything other than finance.

Schools want to accept people who genuinely want to attend their school; it boosts their yield %. Don't hesitate to express your enthusiasm for their program.
Connect w/ as many students/alumni as you can. You'll want to be able to reference meaningful interactions you've had in your app/interview. Schools will also ask who you've spoken to.

Engineering background in chemicals/manufacturing. Deciding between Kellogg and Jones. Received no scholarship from Kellogg but full-ride at Rice. Post-MBA goals are operations or strategy in energy,chem,biotech. Particularly interested in the entrepreneurial environments of both universities. Is Kellogg worth sticker when Rice makes me debt-free?

26, F from India with Btech in CSE and 5 yrs experience in service-based technology industry. Working in Austin since 2022 as vCIO for a mid-size MSP. My goal is to transition into Product Management or Technology Consulting after my MBA. I would need sponsorship as an international student

International student, no scholarships. Concerned about NYC’s cost of living, but my partner (a programmer) may find it easier to get a job there. Would love to hear your thoughts.

1.STG: Tech PM / Consulting, LTG: Entrepreneurship
Dilemma: Choosing between Emory ($$) and UNC, considering both scholarship and brand reputation. Sent a scholarship reconsideration request to UNC, awaiting response.
2.Waitlisted at Cornell and CMU, but R3 too late for a visa process.
3.Need current MBA rankings/Tiers to evaluate school prestige.

Booth / Haas: No $

Foster / McCombs: Partial $

Future Career: Consulting, target MBB. Also considering private wealth management.

Future Location: PNW (Seattle preferred).

Wife: Got into same schools. Supply chain management goals

Does ranking matter that much? Can Booth really get us better jobs in Seattle over Foster?

Got 60k at USC, WL at Fuqua post-interview, R post-interview at Tuck (my first choice), and R no interview at Kellogg and Haas, who encouraged me to transfer my app to the EWMBA since I’m local. Applying R3 and see if I can get USC to give me a 2 week extension, but I don’t know that I’d pay $160k to go to my safety vs stay local and do EWMBA.

I did a GMAT waiver since I already have one master's degree (M.S. in Data Science)

Based in NYC, own my home here, family is all here as well. Also awaiting a Wharton decision Tuesday, which may change calculus. Thinking maybe I could negotiate money at CBS given my other admits/scholarships.

Waitlisted at NYU, initially waitlisted at USC but received a full tuition scholarship once I got admitted. Since I'm aiming for entertainment and need the best network possible, the scholarship made it an easy choice. Good luck all!

Got into part-time programs at both schools. Scholarship money brings USC to a slightly lower tuition than UCLA.

I specialize in climate finance and clean energy, and I want to use an MBA to continue that specialty, with a greater focus on corporate climate risk disclosure and insurance.
