Struggling to decide between the 3. I'm balancing the ideal living environment (wife+kid) and learning experience of Darden vs. the perceived prestige of the other programs.

Anon Likes Earned: 0 I think Kellogg is your best bet. It seems like they welcome spouses and kids into their community. Significant others can even audit classes. Also for Consulting it will be the best. (0)

Anonymous Likes Earned: 0 You'll be able to get into the same companies from all of these schools but many will argue about the brand and network. It's a personal preference at this point, where do you connect with most. $60K is a nice chunk of change, Darden yields a high percentage of consultants, and to go along with consulting - the dean was a senior partner at McKinsey. In my opinion, no school is going to have an unwelcoming community when it comes to their student's families. It's a tough decision, but at least you have several great options, congrats! (0)

Anon Likes Earned: 0 Here is what I'm struggling with -- i thought a 3.5gpa and a 730gmat was going to help me write my own ticket -- apparently it turns out it's the bottom of the barrel compared with so many people on here - I should have just applied to like Trump University or something fml (0)

Anon Likes Earned: 0 Darden to lessen the burden, Booth for brand name. but as others pointed out, all will place you well into consulting. Kellogg is out of the decision here when you got booth (0)

Boothie Likes Earned: 0 Go to Booth! (or Kellogg). If you're confident in your ability to get a top ranked consulting job (Booth/Kellogg will give you a leg up compared to Darden, but its by no means impossible at Darden) you can get your 2nd year paid for by the firm you choose (0)
