Waitlisted at Booth. I'm leaning towards ASU. My goal is to go into MBB in New York. I need professional help as I didn't think i was going to get into Yale. People on reddit has said that I should take Yale. Curious to hear advice from the professionals. I have 8 years on real estate pivoting into strategy consulting.

If your goal is to work in MBB consulting in NYC, then Yale SOM is likely your best option. Of the schools your listed Yale SOM has the best track record of MBB career placement in NYC given its proximity to NYC. While a full ride is tempting, ASU Carey is not as well known for MBB placement. In addition, its alumni base and job placement is more concentrated in Arizona and Southern California, not NYC. So it really depends what factor is most important to you. As part of your due diligence, I do encourage you to speak with current students at these programs who are pursuing consulting careers. (0)
