alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1674 For IB, I'd be less concerned about scholarship swaying your decision. Proximity to NYC might be a factor, placing Stern in a good position. Cornell has real strength in IB, too. Ross and Darden are also great programs, so the decision is very tough, I think. (0)

anon41212 Likes Earned: 0 OP: Thank you guys for the insights. I dropped Fuqua's WL and am waiting for an answer from Tuck. My main concearn is whether it's worth it to incur in a larger debt going to Stern or if Ross/Cornell would open the same doors in terms of recruitment. (0)

anon12901 Likes Earned: 5 I would likely go stern here, only because foreign students tend to have a more difficult time pursuing banking. Stern will allow you to cast the widest net in NYC. I wouldn't bother working the waitlist for Tuck, as they place no better (some would argue worse) than your other options here for banking. I would rank them for your situation Stern>Cornell>Ross=Darden=Tuck. Can't really go wrong though, all great options that would unlock the same opportunities. Good luck! (0)

anon65358 Likes Earned: 1 I agree with anon12901. Cornell is great for NYC IB so I think that's a great option with money, or Stern for the benefit of being in close proximity to the banks in NY. For your goals you have really good present options, doesn't make sense to work the waitlist at Tuck when it's a peer school and arguably not as good for your goals. (0)

anon10006 Likes Earned: 6 stern is easily best for banking option. don't agree that cornell and stern are peers here (cornell is slightly below) and 20k is negligble. see if nyu will give you money. also does johnson have GND? pretty sure stern does. keep in mind it'll be a pain in the ass to commute in and also you may have to keep up a GPA (0)
