Notes:

I am an international student and taking on debt poses serious challenges given the current market conditions. I would like to keep my options open post MBA to move out of the country as well and I am not sure how Ross’ reputation fits in the international market. Would really appreciate some insights!

eliot Verified User. Likes Earned: 1945 Congrats on your scholarships to both CBS ($100k) and Ross ($170k). Both are great MBA programs with solid consulting placement in the US. CBS does have a more global brand. In addition, CBS would give you easy access to international firms based in NYC. It really comes down to what is more important to you. If you want to maximize your options for working internationally, then CBS would be the best fit. (According to the Class of 2024 employment reports, 21% of CBS grads accepting jobs outside of the US compared to 4% of Ross grads). If minimizing your tuition costs is most important to you and you are willing to start off working in the US, then Ross is likely your best option. For due diligence, you should speak with current Ross students to who are seeking to work outside of the US. On balance, my sense is that CBS is likely your best option given its more global/international orientation. (0)
