Really conflicted between SOM and Kellogg - is it worth to choose Kellogg over SOM even with the scholarship? I really like both schools, but I do know that Kellogg is higher ranked. Main priority is having as little debt as possible, but will Kellogg give me better job prospects to pay off my debt faster/be more worth long term?

eliot Verified User. Likes Earned: 1947 Congrats on your acceptances to Kellogg, Yale ($60k), Stern, Anderson and McDonough. You mentioned that you are deciding between Yale SOM and Kellogg. Both are top MBA programs that would provide you with great access to top consulting jobs. In addition, Yale SOM has strong ties for nonprofit/SI. I actually think that Yale SOM with the $60k scholarship is likely your best all-around option when compared to Kellogg. Now, if you prefer Kellogg but you are hesitant about paying full price, you could always ask them if they would give you some scholarship to help match the Yale SOM offer. The worst thing that would happen is they would say no thanks. (0)
