anon30141 Likes Earned: 87 I would go for HBS, but understand you and your spouse will be flying back and forth regularly. If you do opt for Stern, be sure to bring your HBS admit to them and try to get them to up their offer. (4)

While a lot of people would select HBS over NYU, I think that the $100k scholarship at Stern is a great option for you 1) Stern is a great program with deep ties to the NYC tech scene - you can get a solid education and land a great tech job. 2) You and your spouse can fully immerse yourself into the Stern experience together 3) A lot of business school is networking - you are likely to miss out on some of this experience if you are away on weekends visiting your spouse. anon10646 Likes Earned: 783 Yup your relationship is a factor we cannot opine on. I've been researching MBA/Bschools not Psych/Relationships. You may have the type of relationship where this is merely a traffic bump or could be building the Great Wall between you. Would not say it's crazy as 100k at NYU, which seems to have been ascending, is not exactly falling off a cliff from HBS. What @eliot mentions is important as unless you each cannot build spousal visits into some form of professional reasoning you each could be losing out of the value of your MBAs. (2)
