Sloan and Kellogg will be in the tier above, but the 80k does help mitigate that difference, making your choice, no doubt, tougher. Each of the programs will align well with your life sciences track. Clarifying question: Since you are MBB sponsored with a life sciences industry focus, is it safe to assume that you intend to return to your MBB job after graduation? Or are you seeking to move directly into Pharma?

You mention that you are primarily deciding between MIT Sloan, Kellogg and Yale SOM. Would you be willing to share more details about what are the key factors driving your decision? For example, are you focused on brand, geographic location, personal fit? Is proximity to biotech, life science a factor? For instance, MIT Sloan has great ties to the biotech scene around Boston

anon11008 Likes Earned: 6 Thank you! OP here - yes, I plan to return to consulting post grad and pivot into industry after taking on leadership roles in consulting. Primarily prioritizing fit. Originally, I had written off MIT, because I have a technical undergraduate degree (Engineering from a tech school) and one of the main reasons for pursuing an MBA is to shed that background and focus more on strategy work. With that being said, in comparing and analyzing the schools more closely, MIT stands out based on location and industry connection, but struggling to get past the technical element. (0)

It sounds like MIT Sloan would be a great all-around option for you given its location and industry connection. While MIT does have a global brand for its science and engineering, among leading businesses and strategy consulting firms, MIT Sloan is well regarded for business strategy. In addition, MIT Sloan has great connections with Biotech and Life Science firms, particularly in the Northeast. As part of your due diligence, I encourage you to visit these schools and talk with current students to help you decide. (0)
