anon10374 Likes Earned: 1 Both are great. No need to wait for another year. I know CBS provides fundings for student startups and CBS also has a dedicated entrepreneurship center. Maybe Kellogg has that too. Just do a research. I would go with CBS. NY is the best place for startup besides SF. Congrats! (0)

grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1227 I'd also make sure you investigate the tech placement at each school - since it seems like you might either go the startup route or work in tech initially. My suspicion is that both place fairly well at the big tech firms, but it's certainly worth investigating based on your possible target firms. Also, while NYC may be the best place (outside of SF) to launch a firm, you should be sure that you figure out your fit, as the two schools offer a very different student experience. And this should be obvious, but the cost of living in Evanston is not going to be as steep as NYC. Finally, have you looked into alumni presence from each program in the Bay Area or other key tech communities? That would make sense. Best of luck! (0)

anon10033 Likes Earned: 0 I think you will find that for Tech placement Kellogg has higher numbers. However, if you truly are considering Entrepreneurship then you should take a hard look at CBS with that amazing scholarship. Finding funding for a startup can be difficult if you are struggling to support yourself. Both are amazing schools and I can't think of any company that would recruit from only one or the other. Just might take a different # of students. Personally i'd choose CBS here and call it a day. CBS will send less to tech but thats also because less want to go there from CBS. (0)

anon11276 Likes Earned: 0 Differences in employment most likely relate to different levels of interest in each school - all major Tech companies recruit at CBS and you will have a similar shot at any of the two schools. On the entrepreneurship side, though, you will definitely be in a better position at CBS. The school's ties to the financial sector and the NY location will likely come in handy when you start working on your new business. (0)
