I was waitlisted at Ross and although Fuqua decisions aren't out yet, I doubt any offer from them could overshadow acceptances from Kellogg/Tuck (40k scholarship)

Don't have a particularly high paying job so I am looking at 100k+ debt if I ultimately choose Kellogg . I hope to stay in Tech (particularly Cloud services) post-MBA.

Any thoughts?

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1677 Tuck would sit a little behind Kellogg, overall, but the gap isn’t large. It might somewhat depend on the size of your scholarship. I would look at Tuck’s network/resources in the tech/cloud space, and make sure I can see some good opportunities. It’s a great overall program, no doubt. (1)

anon97226 Likes Earned: 10 Thanks Alex - I will be taking a look at that. Certainly the tricky bit is trying to gauge how much of a Tuck scholarship would "make up" for passing on Kellogg. Still, super grateful to be in this position! (2)

grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1245 Congrats on your offers from both Kellogg and Tuck! These are two excellent programs with incredibly supportive communities and close-knit networks. Do you have a sense of where you want to be post-MBA? USA? West Coast? Back in the UK? Also, are you looking for a smallish program in a rural setting - to unplug from city life? Or, are you keen to join a slightly larger program, right on the outskirts of a major metropolis? I agree that it will make sense to do some due diligence with respect to network/placements in your target industry/geographic preference...but on the surface, no one could fault you for attending an Ivy League school (Tuck) with $40K...
