I need professional help here.
I applied to Booth and was waitlisted. Does it make sense to withdraw my application and apply to their part-time instead? I was also admitted into Yale SOM with a 100K scholarship. My goal is to pivot into consulting, ideally MBB. I also am a Consortium fellow and I know Consortium does not support part-time students.

It sounds like you have a highly compelling offer from Yale SOM with a serious scholarship. Yale does really well with consulting placements too... In short, if your goal is to pivot into an MBB consulting job, doing so via a full-time MBA program seems like the smart choice, and you happen to have an offer with generous scholarship dollars from a top school...
Now, if you were already working in consulting in the Chicago area and were merely looking to use the MBA to accelerate your career or seek to trade up from a non-MBB to MBB, then perhaps a part-time option would make sense...but I am assuming that if you applied to FT programs in the first place that you recognized the benefits these programs provide when it comes to career switching.

Also, keep in mind that when it comes to the student body, there is actually a pretty big difference between part-time programs and full-time programs - since part-time typically caters to a local population, whereas full-time draws candidates from across the globe.
I encourage you to look carefully at the class profiles and do some digging, since it's not like this is an apples to apples sort of comparison. You might also ask recruiters at McKinsey, Bain or BCG for their advice.... (0)
