anon65069 Likes Earned: 2 I love Rice and I do not have anything negative to say about their programs other than their online MBA @ Rice. I was reached out by a recruiter that stated they were from Rice, when in-fact they were not. The Rice online MBA is handled by a completely different company. The recruiter loved my profile, waived my GMAT due to GPA and the quality of my experience, read my essays for me, everything seemed perfect. That was until I paid my application fee and then all communication completely fell off. Could not get a response from anyone. Then after about 2 weeks got an email actually from Rice saying I was denied admissions. Never heard from anyone since. Just felt like a weird experience and rather unprofessional. I have seen subreddits of people having the same experience as well. At the end of the day, it is what it is. Rice is still a fantastic program, and I can't let my experience get in the way of the truth. They told me to apply to their working professional program rather than online, but I'd rather not waste $200. Best of luck to anyone who gets accepted to the online program, I have also heard good things about it. I just felt the process to be unprofessional. (1)
