grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1413 @merlin95 - it's not unusual for Stanford to call admits a couple of days before the portal update. I would expect calls to go out today and tomorrow, with portal update on the 3rd.

grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1413 No pattern, per se - beyond the fact that time zones play a role in when the calls might come. So someone in Japan may get a call early in the day (US time), whereas someone in San Francisco might hear later...but that pattern could be repeated each day that calls are going out, so I wouldn't read too much into it.

I should also remind you that this is far from an exact science, and the admissions team has multiple team members making calls - each with their own schedules/commitments that could shift things, etc. Your best bet is to sit tight and hope for some good news at any time in the next 48 hours or so.
