Boston University Questrom Master in Management
Overview
Questrom’s Master in Management program is designed for college seniors and recent college graduates seeking a management education to launch a business career. Spanning nine months in length, this full-time MiM program is offered on Boston University’s campus in Boston, Massachusetts.
For admission, MiM applicants are asked to submit college transcripts, a one-page resume, four video essays, and one written essay. Applicants also have the option to submit a GMAT or GRE score. Work experience is not required for admission to the program. For international applicants, a TOEFL, IELTS or a Duolingo test score may be required. The application deadlines to Questrom’s MiM program are November 1, 2024; January 10, 2025; February 14, 2025; and April 9, 2025 and May 7, 2025.

Curriculum
Questrom MiM program offers an integrated curriculum that includes a summer session as well as four modules. Each 8 week module is organized around a theme and includes both coursework and a class project to explore this theme.
The first module focuses on Business Foundations, and includes both courses in business strategy, financial reporting and quantitative methods as well as a business launch team project. The second module is organized around Customer Driven Growth. This module includes both an opportunity assessment client project as well as coursework on customers and markets, financial decision making and managing people and teams. The third module focuses on Growth Acceleration, which includes a digital marketing client project as well as coursework in digital transformation and agile project management. The fourth module’s theme is Commercializing Innovation. This includes an innovation tournament project as well as coursework in entrepreneurial innovation.
Careers
Throughout the Questrom MiM program, students have access to Questrom’s Career Center services, including career coaching, job search guidance, interview preparation, and networking practice. Students enrolled in the Questrom MiM program also have the opportunity to engage with Questrom’s employer partners and the Boston University alumni network.
In terms of employment outcomes, 26% of MiM graduates accept jobs in the finance industry, followed by 16% in consulting, 16% in technology, 14% in consumer goods and 12% in the healthcare industry. In terms of functional roles, 20% of MiM graduates accept marketing and product management roles, followed by 20% in analytics, 16% in consulting, 16% in sales and business development, 10% in project management and 8% in general management roles.
Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid
The total tuition cost for the Questrom Master in Management program is $67,776. This includes fees. The school notes that students should also expect to budget $15,450 for housing and food, $1,574 for books and supplies, $3280 for medical insurance, $1120 for transportation as well as $3292 for personal costs. Questrom automatically considers all MiM students for merit-based scholarships, which are provided on a limited basis. US citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to complete the FAFSA form to apply for Federal Direct Stafford Loans, and both domestic and international students can utilize private loans to fund the cost of their education at Questrom.
Admissions
The Questrom MiM Program is open to current college seniors and recent college graduates across all disciplines except for undergraduate business majors. Applicants are not required to have prior work experience.
