Georgia Tech employs 68 faculty members in the full-time MBA program. These faculty members teach across nine departments and contribute to 10 research centers.
Curriculum
Professors at Georgia Tech Scheller use a mix of teaching methods, half being lectures and the rest being split between the case method and team projects. The academic calendar of the full-time MBA program is broken into four semesters. Full-time MBA coursework consists of 54 credit hours—12 core courses and 11 elective courses. Georgia Tech does not offer course waivers.
MBA students are required to choose one official concentration and complete four electives in the discipline. Concentrations include accounting, business analytics, entrepreneurship, finance, international business, leadership, management, management of information resources, marketing, supply chain & operations management, product & service innovation, strategy & innovation, and sustainability. Students may also purse an additional supplemental concentration either from the options above or two additional ones, law & ethics or Technology Innovation: Generating Economic Results (TI:GER) participation.
Other MBA Degree Options
Along with its 22-month full-time MBA program, Georgia Tech also offers a part-time Evening MBA program, which allows students to earn an MBA in 24 to 36 months while working. The school also has an Executive MBA program for individuals at a more advanced stage in their careers. The Executive MBA runs for 17 months, featuring Friday evening and Saturday classes on select weekends.
The MBA dual degree option allows students to combine an MBA with an MS or PhD degree in programs from the Georgia Tech Colleges of Engineering, Computing, Design and Liberal Arts. Scheller also partners with the Morehouse School of Medicine to offer an M.D./MBA program as a dual degree option.

Clubs & Competitions
Georgia Tech has robust offerings of student organizations for Scheller MBA students. In total there are 22 clubs – 8 Graduate Business Club (GBC) committees, 6 Full-time and Evening Clubs and 8 Scheller One-MBA Clubs. These student organizations provide opportunities for full-time MBA students to obtain leadership experience in business-related extracurricular activities. The GBC executive leadership team represents the interests of the students within the program, serves as a liaison between the students and the faculty and staff within Scheller, and oversees student-run committees for the Scheller MBA Full-time program. The full-time MBA clubs span professional interests including consulting, marketing, finance, operations and entrepreneurship. Full-time MBA students can also join evening and executive MBA students in the One-MBA Clubs, which include cultural affinity groups like Blacks in Business and Latin American.

Campus Spaces
The Graduate Commons is a large study and social space located in the Scheller College of Business building. The setting of Scheller in Tech Square is what sets it apart. Tech Square was launched in 2003 and has become a destination for startup firms, incubators, established technology firms, major corporate offices, corporate innovation centers, venture capital investors, and various retail, residential and business service providers. It is home to five startup accelerators, 10 investor offices, and more than 200 startups. Over a dozen Fortune-class corporations have established innovation centers at Tech Square, providing opportunities for Georgia Tech MBA students to develop critical leadership skills, develop professional networks, and work on “live” business challenges.

The Jones MBA Career Center provides many ways for students to develop professionally during their time at the school. These services include career development workshops, summer internship support, MBA conferences and career fair preparation, alumni career resources, and additional programming. The Jones staff helps students develop a career strategy, identify job search targets, and explore MBA career options. They also offer interview prep and identify recruitment opportunities.
Career Statistics
For the Class of 2023, 96% secured employment within three months of graduation. They landed an average starting salary of $154,679. Ninety-one percent reported signing bonuses, which averaged $28,245. Eighty-three percent of job opportunities were facilitated by the Jones MBA Career Center.
Fifty-eight percent joined the consulting industry. Eleven percent pursued technology careers and nine percent landed in finance. Another six percent entered the transportation/logistics fields and five percent attained roles in manufacturing.
By function, 68 percent took on consulting roles. General management followed at 17 percent. Six percent pursued roles in marketing/sales and five percent in finance/accounting.

There are additional student fees of $1,546 per year, which cover athletics, the campus recreation center (CRC), the health center, computer labs, trolleys and buses, the student center, and more. International students pay an additional $100 student fee.
All students are considered for merit aid, including graduate assistantships and scholarships. The majority of funding will be awarded to those who apply in Round 1 or Round 2.
