Manchester Global Part Time MBA
Overview
The University of Manchester Global Part Time MBA program allows students to earn an MBA degree from anywhere in the world. In addition, students participate in six residencies, traveling both to their “home center” closest to their location and international locations. The global centers offered are in Dubai, Hong Kong, Manchester, Shanghai, and Singapore. The Global MBA students come from diverse backgrounds, encompassing 100 nationalities. Applicants are expected to hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least three years of prior full-time work experience. However, applicants with strong professional qualifications that do not hold a bachelor’s degree can still be considered for the program.
Curriculum
The two-year Manchester Global Part Time MBA program consists of core courses and electives. Core courses offered include Leading People and Organizations, Business Accounting and Finance, and Strategy and Competition. Some examples of elective courses offered include Advanced Strategic Management, Engaging Human Talent, as well as a course in Fintech, Digital Banking, and Blockchain. Depending on the courses chosen, a student can have between 11 and 31 days of six in-person residency workshops. For core course workshops, students attend the in-person residencies at their home center. For electives, students can choose to attend residencies at the Manchester global centers in Dubai, Hong Kong, Manchester, Shanghai, and Singapore.

Admissions
Applicants to the Manchester Global Part Time MBA program are expected to have earned an undergraduate degree, with some exceptions for experienced managers.
