Curriculum

The 52-credit Online MBA program from Minnesota Carlson can be completed in two years, with the option to extend the program length for up to seven years. Students take a mix of core courses and electives. Core courses include Strategic Management, Financial Accounting, and Organizational Behavior. Electives are offered in areas such as Accounting, Business Law, and Finance. Most courses are offered asynchronously, although students can opt to take some in-person courses if desired. In-person residency options are also available to help students network and build connections with their classmates.

Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid

The total tuition cost of the Minnesota Carlson Online MBA program is $93,444, ($1,797 per credit). This does not include fees and course materials. Students can complete the FAFSA form to apply for federal loans. Additionally, some employers may cover some of the cost of an MBA, including specific Carlson Corporate Partners. To be eligible for 15 percent and 50 percent merit scholarships, students must complete the scholarship essay portion of the Online MBA application. Military members may also be eligible for 15 percent tuition discounts upon acceptance into the program. 

Admissions

In order to be admitted to the Minnesota Carlson Online MBA program, applicants must have a minimum of two years full-time professional work experience and hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited US institution or international equivalent. To be considered for merit scholarships, students must complete the scholarship essay within the application. English language test scores are required of students who have not completed a certain number of years in a college or graduate program taught in English.
